I am back in a mode of gathering information. Dr. Natale told me that if he had looked at the TEE that was taken Monday before I was on the table that he probably would not have done an ablation. Yes my doctor spoke with him and yes he had the records showing the size of my left atrium several weeks before my visit. Being told that my valve is seriouly defective again, my sinus node is likely not working, and that I will need a pace maker has seriously concerned me. I am not assigning blame, just gathering more information so that I can understand how I've progressed from a successful valve repair and MAZE to seriously impaired cardiac function in just over two years.
