Greetings and Happy Holidays to all. We are at the 5 month post-Maze anniversary, and the EKG I had done an hour ago shows NSR and Normal EKG. I have a copy hanging on my office door for all to see - alongside an EKG when I was in a-fib...eye opener for my fellow employees. Feeling dang good - fighting this cold that is nailing everyone in the Pacific Northwest and still the occasional PAC - but feeling great.
Wanted to say thank you to Sarah for her play-by-play from the Summit....I asked Dr. Gillinov for a copy of my operative notes when I left Cleveland, and it almost runs parallel with Sarah's notes. She mentions his use of the Atricure device...quite a tool...take a look at the Atricure website. Based on his operative notes on me, he spent some time with it inside my chest.
