Flu and higher heart rate

About 2 pm today, I came down with flu while at work. Started with chills, now some fever,101-102. No nausea yet and chills have stopped at 6:00 pm. I had a similar flu in 1996 and it produced very similar symptoms, except no heart rate elevation. Now, however my resting heart rate is regular at 120 bpm. I may have missed my attenolol in the morning. I still take 25 mg in two 12.5 doses/day. Normal heart rate has been 75-85 bpm while resting. Wondering about flutter? Tomorrow I will call Cardio if things don't return to normal. Any thoughts or similar experience info would be helpful. First glitch since Maze on 3/25/03.
