Jack, I think your right about the new methods using something (like microwave) that doesn't "Heat up" the tissure when ablating around the pulmonary valves (no matter how low the risk is), and things like cryo are a start. The problem, as I remember them saying, with cryo/freesing, is that it's so slow. Slow to scar the tissue throughout the thickness, and less able to "direct" the focus on one spot.
