Since you had a mechanical replacement, you'll probably have to take blood thinners for life. Will that new one (See my post "Finally, a Better Blood Thinner than Coumadin") be good for you. It sounds like you won't have to worry about food and drug reactions. Also, the blood tests are greatly reduced.
