Steve, All that Lam.MD prescribes cannot control errant electrical pathways in the atria that cause A-Fib. It is a waste of money and time. MAZE is still the best possible cure for A-Fib for most patients. We all wish there was an easier way. Maybe someday there will be. A-Fib can be a devastating condition greatly reducing the quality of life. MAZE surgery has significantly helped many of us.
