Actually doctors at Cleveland did not prescribe any heart medications post op. However, I went into AFib several weeks to a month after the surgery and my local cardiologist put me back on it along with ToprolXL and Tambocor. He discontinued the beta blocker and anti-arrythmic several months ago. I think he did the right thing until I could be in NSR for a period of time. Also, I know there are no guarantees that I won't go back into AFib. I'll just take that one day at a time.
