Barb - I too have the Post-Maze "blips." I am only 3 1/2 months post-Maze. My recent holter results were sent to Dr. Gillinov and he said they (the skipped beat) are part of the healing process and should diminish over time....nothing to get concerned about.
I was in fib so long - (>20 yrs!) that when I get the occasional irregular beat I think "oh boy, here we go again," but I haven't gone into fib.....way cool!!!!
