Dave, I think I must have been on Rythmol for at least 8 years for my Afib, before I had my Maze in April 2002. It worked very well at controlling the Afib, but like all arrhythmia medications, it was gradually losing it's effectiveness in controlling the fibrillation. I never had any side effects other than I think it lowered my pulse rate and blood pressure. It was for me more effective than any of the many other medications I used previously in the 25 years I had Afib. All the best to you for your PVA at CC on 12-2-03. Don
