The criteria used was how, complications and mortality statistics stacked up within 26 categories of common proceedures. Like,.....example's given were baloon angioplasty and "stents", which i'm interested in, considering my PV stenosis!
The stats come from "Healthgrades" mostly, and they admit that even the lowest rated states may have some good hospitals....somewhere in that state! Yes, if Little Rock were more easily available to me, it would be an adequate choice....maybe. When it comes to my heart...I don't want second best.
