Jim, best of luck to you on Oct 17th. I'm sure you will be pleased with the results. You can certainly expect your heart rate to increase after the ablation. You will experience some runs of afib and ectopic beats that will gradually diminish over a month or two. It's been 10 months since my PVA and my heart rate is now about what it used to be. I still have a few PVCs or whatever everyday, but they don't bother me. M.
