Jeanne, I am very sorry that your maze didn't work, and any others out there that didn't work are most welcome to post their histories on this web sit. We would all be interested in having the information. I just don't think there are that many out there that didn't work.
However you should also remind everyone of the story you told me. Dr. Cox did a experimental type surgery (Operating on a heart without stopping it), on you that had never been tried before and it didn't work out. That is why it is no longer done that way.
I feel that we all should be as open and fully disclose any aspects of our surgeries whether it be good or bad.
I don't think anyone on this board is trying to hide anything, or sell anything. It is just for the information of what any of us might expect down the road. We rely on each other to correctly inform everyone of what happened and if we know the reason, Why.
