Maze early this morning., Yesterday afternoon Dr McCarthy had the head of
the CC EP lab (Dr. Tchou) look at some ekg's and dedided that the problem was
flutter, induced (possibly) by AF and complicated (possibly)by scar tissue
from a 1990 surgical ablation of WPW.; Sooo, the plan now is to ablate (RF)
the flutter on Thursday next. It seems that flutter ablation is more certain
than AF ablation because of the nature of the pathway.
The bottom line is that we're going to go for the flutter ablation andsee
what happens from that. We can always come back for the Maze, if necessary.
Again, please post our thanks for the Prayers and kind thoughts of all
