Angie just set your mind on all the things you and your children are going to do when you get over the soreness of the surgery, and it doesn't really take that long. I was mowing my lawn at 2 weeks after surgery.
I don't know him myself, but it sounds like you will be in very good hands with Dr. Barnes. The others whom he did the surgery on seem to thank very highly of him.
You will have many people thinking of you, and praying for you during this.
