Jimmy: If the CC doesn't have the results (film) of a relatively recent cath, they will do one while you are there getting pre-tested. If you have no reason to believe that you have no blockages, then it is unlikely that you would need a stent. If you have any blockages, they might just do some bypass surgery while they have you open. I believe Harley Gilmore had blockages discovered while at the CC and they did the Maze and the multi-bypass altogether. The cath procedure and the "plug/sleeve" they used at the CC were much less time-consuming than what I had experienced at 2 different hospitals in Florida, in that it was MUCH easier/quicker and more comfortable. I am sure you could arrange to have a cath and a film overnighted to them for review before your other tests. Just get your doctor to coordinate it with someone at the CC so they can expect its' arrival and review it immediately.
