Professor Haissaguerre and Dr. P. Jais both speak nifits of France is that your partner can stay with you in the same room for the duration of your stay. They send you a costing which you then transfer to the Fench Government once that is complete you are on your way.

Usually, check in Monday morning 9.00am ablation the same day then Tues,Wednes,Thurs and Friday in hospital leaving Friday sometime if all has gone well then you have Friday, Saturday, Sunday in a hotel then back to Haut Leveque on Monday for a check up and a bike ride to test the heart then once that is complete and paperwork is done you may leave.

Prof.Hassiguerre has been inundated with requests for ablations and told me he was starting to close the door a little on whom he accepted. He is a very caring person as is Dr. Jais and I believe he hates to see people not cured of AFib.

There is an e-mail link on one of the sites for Haut Leque
E-mail Address(es):
jacques.clementy@pu.u-bordeaux2.fr

When i went in September 2002 Prof H. and Dr. Jais had done over 800 ablations, this is probably up to 1000 now.

Sorry for double post just forgot the last bit.

Regards

Joss
