Glad to see you back on the board Rob. That strange feeling in your chest will eventually go away, but it does take a little time.
Dr. Barnes does the open and see type like I had, and it is a slower rehab. In my opinion the full open is usually a cleaner cure as far as having any AF after the surgery. As far as I know I was never in AF after I came out of the O.R. Either procedure usually produces the same results in the long term.
