chest tubes and other fun stuff!

Today is day 26 post maze and day 13 for my second round of hospitaliztion from surgery. I have another effusion in my chest cavity and the pulmonologist is going to put another chest tube in tomorrow. If the fluid comes back, then they will want to do a VATS procedure to find the source.

Meanwhile, they have given up on Rhythmol and started Amiodarone and, so far, are having better results. It's beginning to look like they'll get my HR where they want it but that the lung problem will be what keeps me here. I can't wait til 2-3 months down the road when all this will be past me!
