It just struck me...

...(reading the posts of the last couple of weeks), that I missed my four year Maze anniversary yesterday (I was Maze:d on the 22nd of February 1999). So, one day late, I'd like to reiterate my praise and gratitude for Dr. Cox and his work. I owe him and my surgeon, Dr. Bengtson so much. Without them, my life would surely have been far from as active and stimulating as it is now.

Also, again, many thanks of course to Jack and all those who contribute on a regular basis on this site!

I know, for a fact, that the input and feed-back is much appreciated.

Incidentally, I "celebrated" my anniversy by taking a trailer up to Gavle (a city north of Stockholm), helping my 87 year old grandma to move from her house to an apartment nearby. I managed to get a 12 K cross-country ski effort in too...:-) (yes, it's still very much winter here in the Stockholm area; I succeded in getting yet another ski run in today - wonderful stuff!). Being able to carry stuff, running, playing tennis, doing cross-country skiing, or whatever you happen to like, are of course just some of the things that the Maze allows you to do. Forgetting about your past difficulties, getting your energylevels back to normal and not having to worry about the next outburst of Afib are manifestations that are evidentally equally wonderful....

I wish you all cont'd success with your lives.

Best regards,
Anders Kingstedt, Stockholm, Sweden
