Pati: Your upbeat attitude MUST have rubbed off from Angie. You are surely in the "top five" (or perhaps "bottom five") as far as adverse problems post-maze of anyone of whom I have read in the last 3 years. I was so fortunate to have none of these setbacks, although I had a few hours of afib in the hospital, and then had 2 episodes of flutter at 3 and 19 months post maze, for which cardioversion provided relief. I would not have done as well as you with such setbacks, and for that I am really grateful!
A few of us (Ed included) had brief "scarey" episodes post-maze, but we have come to learn that some of these are expected. You may well be "out of the woods" now, and I hope to see only greeaaat posts from you in the future.
