Nancy, I had Maze surgery and was cured of afib at the Texas Heart Inst. almost a year ago. I'm not familiar with Dr. Lopez. The EP I saw was Dr. Ali Massumi, who works with the Maze surgeon Dr. Michael Duncan. I received excellent care and both doctors are outstanding.
