Mike, I took Flecainide for four weeks before it made me sick...ie. bradychardia, dizziness, nausea. Did the doc tell you about not taking it if you have any structual heart disease, stroke, or past MI?? I'm trying not to alarm you, but to pass on what I was told 5yrs ago by my EP. My understanding is that it was previously "pulled" for use post MI, because it was actually giving people heart attacks,so it's to be used very carefully. That's all I know about it...except it's in that class of meds that are beta-type blockers, and I can't take any of them.
