Maze on Wednesday

I am going into Papworth hospital in the UK to have the Maze on Wednesday (12th Feb ).Stephen Large is my surgeon.I had very little notice hence not too much time to prepare myself (nor panic!).I am feeling a strange mixture of dread and relief.I have always read your stories with a great deal of admiration - now suddenly I find myself here!I am really quite overwhelmed at the possibility of living free from AF.Unfortunately I had the same feeling before each of several failed attempts at ablation !I am under no illusion that this is going to be easy but knowing that you have all been there and are doing so well is a great comfort.I would welcome any last minute advice.
