First of all get a couple of feather pillows to hug your chest after surgery, especially when you are traveling.
Next, after the maze, if you feel a sneeze coming on, exhale as much as possible before the sneeze, so you don't stress your sternum while it heals.
Don't push yourself too much for a few weeks, and enjoy the quiet steady thumping sound in your chest, like a finely tuned race car.
Then start enjoying life as you never could in AF.
