I had my PVA with Dr. Schweikert and Dr. Netalae last March. My procdure lasted a bit over 8 hours .. I don't remember a darn thing after they stuck the electrodes on and gave me my first shot of meds. I do know that I had catheters in both left and right groin as well as in my neck. They did a TEE while I was medicated so I remember nothing.
Additionally, I was not put on any medication after my procedure nor since then at all. I did experience a complication during my procedure which I have shared about several times on this board, but if you are interested or have any other questions that I might share about, please don't hesitate to email me personally!
PS I am getting ready to get signed up for the new softball season .. I play catcher for our church league and had a blast playling last year just weeks after my PVA!!
