Jeremy, it sounds like you should probably be looking for a new cardiologist.
I am not familiar with your area, but Ed Wehan might be. Ed lives in Cal. and he will probably be posting a answer to your post.
You need to have the correct DX, and then discuss the proper treatment for what your problem is. Medication in the long run is not usually the way to go. It is much better to get things fixed and get rid of the medication and live your life. These things are possible to do.
