This past weekend in L.A., Ed Wehan, my wife and I, and Ed's beautiful 7 year old daughter, Mallory, met over a bottle of champagne to celebrate our good fortune/new lives, coincidentally on the 2nd anniversary of my release from the CC. After seeing Mallory, I can understand why Ed was so motivated to get to Cleveland. I believe he might have walked had it been necessary.
We discussed how much we want to get together with many of the great folks who have participated on this board, preferably (as far as we are concerned) at some place where we might see some of the great doctors who have contributed to the success of the Cox Maze and, more recently at the CC, afib ablations.
We will keep you posted.
