FYI: A flutter and A fib.

Here's my 2 cents on fib/flutter. I was diagnosed with
fib/flutter 10 years ago. Finally had an ablation done
on the flutter in 3/2000. BUT the fib was still there.
My Dr. thought maybe the flutter was triggering the
a-fib episodes. But in 8/2002 I had another ablation
done for my fib, by Dr. Chun Huang In Provo, UT. Have
been a fib free for 5 months now(with no drugs). He
is well known for his success at ablations, and he says
that you can't have fib without flutter. So in other
words flutter can't develop by itself, you must have
A-Fib first. That's his take on it.
