Bill: As you can see, many of us have been "in the same boat" as you, myself included. When I first went to an EP, he thought my primary arrhythmia was aflutter, and did an ablation. It lowered my max HR during afib from 260+ to 160bpm, and minimized afib for a short time, but within a few weeks, afib was back to occuring every other day, just not as fast. After nearly 2 more years of diminishing health/quality of life, I found Jack forming this board. I had the maze 4 months after the board started and have had no afib/drugs for 2 years.
