Atrial Flutter After the Maze

Dear Friends:

I am sheduled for RFA Procedure at Cleveland Clinic with Dr. Natale on Feb. 3rd to correct my Atrial Flutter.

I had the Maze operation on Sept. 13th, 2001. The Atrial Flutter first appeard in Feb. 2002, for a short period of time. Later on, the same symptom appeared again repeatedly in August 2002. It took lots of tests befor I realized these new symptom was related to Atrial Flutter. According to the information I have recieved from some you, Atrial Flutter occure to very few (3 %) after the MAZE Orocedure. Well, I guess I am one of the few unlucky ones.

Pray for me that the RFA procedure will take care of the problem and I can be counted back among the sucessful Mazers who enjoy life.
