Denniss, I'm not sure my memory and numbers are exact, but when I had my Maze (4/4/02) for Lone Atrial fibrillation, my surgeon, Dr. Millar, in Salt Lake City said I would be the 40th Lone Afib Maze out of the over 200 Mazes he had done. I'm 74 years young, and have not had any Afib since my Maze. As a Lone Afibber, I think you should be better off doing the Maze than all those who have other underlying heart problems. Don
