It will be one year tomorrow (01-16-03) since I have had my Maze surgery at Mayo Clinic - Rochester. I have done very well and never once regretted having it done. I have not checked the message board since before the holidays, as it was so busy, but am going to read some of the other stories that have been posted since I last was on there.
Again, I thank God and my brilliant surgeon, Dr. Dearani, who have made my life whole again. My healing process seems to be over, and I am feeling great. Good luck to all of you out there who are thinking of having this procedure done. And thanks to Carl Plaskett and Jack Drum who have put this message board out there and have given so much educational information about the Maze procedure to people who didn't know where else to turn. It is amazing to see so many people who are being helped with their decisions by the information being put on this site. Keep up the good work guys!!!
