Those may be the stats for CC, but...... at the recent conference on Cardiology, much of the focus was on ablations and the risks which appeared to me to be dramatically higher than anything that has been discussed here. Some of the discussion was about Pulmonary Stenosis and their concern about the risks and I believe the stats were much higher than 2%, but that may have been related to a specific procedure.

Another part of one of the articles discussed success rates of some of the newer ablations. They begin at 80%, but that includes those that continue to have meds. Subtract those out and it is 60%.

I read the articles at www.medscape.com You have to register first and it is for the medical profession. We have a couple medical clinics and we use Medscape to keep track of some of the latest developments, etc.
