My sister and I stayed at the guesthouse in January of 2001. I liked it because it was so close to the hospital - our husbands walked to the hospital. I didn't feel like I was crowded. The lobby area gets a little fuller when it's time for the shuttles to arrive, but there is a nice sitting area with a fireplace - very nice in January! The rooms are basic, but that doesn't bother me - I was just thrilled to be there to get my heart fixed! Also, we found the staff to be very nice and helpful. My husband also loved the fact that the Chicago Deli is downstairs! Tell Dr. McCarthy and Dr. Hammer the Maze twins say hello!
