That's fabulous news. Congratulations. This is the best Christmas gift you could have--your heart back in NSR. I will echo your words to those not yet back in NSR. It can take time. It took me 5 months and 2 cardioversions but I feel great and am happy to be back on my beloved New England hiking trails.
I observe from reading postngs on this board that for those of us who have had both a mitral valve repair and a maze that the recovery into NSR is often longer than for those who have had a lone maze. So if there is anyone out there who is worried they are not yet back in NSR--just hang in there and keep hopeful and optimistic.
