I am considering the Maze procedure for my lone atrial fibrillation which has bothered me for five years. I wanted to go to the Clevland Clinic to educate myself with my situation and to discuss the possibility of the Maze. Whom do I make the appointment with? Dr. McCarthy or an electro-physiologist on staff? Could you recommend a good cardiologist at CC who specializes in electro-physiology? I am probably not ready to do the Maze on this visit, I just want their opinion as to my case. For those who have been to the Clevland Clinic and gone through this I would appreciate your thoughts.
