Hi Laurie. I had a PVA in March of 2002. I have always felt every beat of my heart ... some doc's have told me this is possible because I am tall and thin. Since having my PVA I continue to feel every beat .. and can feel PVC's regularly. Most everybody has PVC's anyway, so I'm not worried about it myself. I have also had a couple bouts of brief accellerated rate. At first I was really worried about it. But I think it's pretty normal .. especially if you are under any stress -- I've got some and I think that lots of things in "normal, everyday life" are a part of or stimulate an extra beat or two every now and then. But I'm no doctor .. that's just my two cents worth. :0)
