Hello Steve,
I am a 40 year old and just had the MAZE after 3 years in chronic a-fib. We tried every medication, including Tikosyn, nothing worked, cardioverted 5 times until my doctor practically forced me into the MAZE. I'm glad I did, it's been almost 7 weeks since the surgery and am in NSR and very pleased. I noticed you went to a doctor in St. Louis, my doctor is in Peoria Illinois and I would highly recommend him as well as my surgeon. Please feel free to e-mail me and we can talk. Good Luck!
