Jack, I'm from Houston, Tex. age 68. Afib since 10/96. Have about two episodes a year that require ER. Total now converted in Hosp. 10, 2 - Electric and 8 - Chemical, primarly Corvert. Have been on no drugs till this week. Now 2 - 225Mg Rythmol and 1 - 0.25Mg Lanoxin. Not sure I'm going to like the drug route. Thanks for making this site available. Very thought provoking and helpful to folks like me. I am not retired. I'm still working because I choose to. So far it hasn't been too bad, just inconvenient and expensive. The first few were scary though since I didn't know anything about AF. Now I guess I'm going to have to do something, cause I've had three trips to the emergency room for conversion in the past two weeks. Please advise me your new location. Thank you, Lawrence
