I think some of my comments in my earlier post were off-mark for someone in chronic afib. I agree with Ed about looking into an ablation or maze at CC (check your insurance and/or Peg Judson at CC to make sure you're covered). One medication that has been used with some success at converting chronic afibbers to normal rhythm is Tikosyn, but I think that sooner or later you'd likely be back in afib. The maze has the best long-term record. I'll be hoping for the best for you.
