My FAA first class medical

I wanted to let you know that I am now back at work as a pilot. The FAA sent a regular first class medical back to me on the 29th of November without any restrictions at all. That is exactly 8 months to the day since my maze operation at the Cleveland Clinic. I feel very thankful to have my medical and my job back.

I usually complain about the Government. This time I want to thank the FAA for taking the time to find out about the Maze and understand that it does cure A-fib. I also want to thank two wonderful doctors from the Cleveland Clinic. Doctor Hammer, thank you for the letter you wrote for me about my condition and the Maze operation. I sent that letter to the FAA with my records. Thank you Doctor McCarthy for saving my life.
