My AF had caused an MI, a 95% blockage of my coronary artery and severely damaged my mitral valve and I had been on welfare four years because I was totaly disabled by it. The United Way's Skywish program got me a free 2,000 mile round trip to DC for the surgery and NH Medicaid paid the bill. I am now back to work full time and am doing all the things I couldn't do for five years.They did the MAZE, a single bypass and a mitral valve repair all at one time and I was in NSR immediately after surgery. I had the maze 3/99 and it took two years to completely heal.I am now 58 years old and getting younger every day.
