Your cure was about like mine. Came out of the hospital in NSR and off all my old AF medications, never to touch them again.Personally, I can't agree with your thoughts on Mayo Clinic though. I know it is a good medical facility, but I went there about 12 year ago for severe back and abdominal pain that I had been fighting for 5 years, and they did the same as the medical people where I am from. When they can't find the cause, (after 4 days of testing), they say it is in your mind. Sent me home loaded with depression medications, and said to see a shrink.
By accident I found out it was caused by side effect of one of my AF (lanoxin), medications. Stopped the meds. and with in 10 days all the pain was gone, and so was the depression.
I know the Mayo Clinic have a good track record on the maze, and I would recommend them for anyone who wanted to go there.
