PVI on December 5

I will have my PVI procedure next week at the Texas Heart Institute of the Saint Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. Drs. Jai Cheng and John Seger will perform. I am doing pretty dogon well on meds, so there is some apprehension that a procedure carries risks as well as potential rewards. I am much more symptomatic when not on Norpace and Zebeta, so there is no hiding from the facts that I have paroxysmal a-fib. My doctors and my reading have convinced me that it is best to treat a-fib early and that I will not ever be free of it without some sort of difinitive procedure. Anyway, have a great turkey day and I send my prayers to those others among us who are about to have their treatment of any kind.
