Tim - I can assure you I have had A fib. which I experienced two months after the Maze. I work at a Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery center, and have actually been at work when the fib/flutter has occurred and have had it documented. My electrophysiologist has suggested a "touch up" ablation or flutter ablation which is performed routinely at centers such as the Mayo Clinic or Cleveland Clinic on post Maze patients who experience a fib/flutter after their surgery.
