I'm writing this for my husband, Dale Finley, who had the MAZE surgery on March 11, 2002. After a painful five weeks (they still know why he was in such great pain), he is feeling great and off all drugs but coumadin. He is in NSR, except for a very few seconds on several occasions, which they consider normal. We just finished our Tennessee walking horse show season, and now Dale is "grearing-up" to teach skiing at Peak-n'Peek ski resort in Clymer, New York. His appetite is back, and Dr. Lon Castle told him at his check-up last week that he was doing great----BUT ,to lose 20 pounds. So he's trying his best. Dale is like Will Rodgers-----he never met a food he didn't like! Well, maybe Orka is one thing he doesn't like!
Good luck and good health to all and keep up this wonderful, informative site. Dale Finley
