It's nice to hear from you Paul, especially after you and I had our Maze procedure at the same place and basically at the same time (August 2001) at Ohio State. I am glad to hear you are doing well and are meeting the challenges during recovery. Continued good luck to you and your good wife.
I haven't seen recent postings to this board that suggest there have been recent Maze procedures performed at Ohio State. Perhaps there have been and postings have not been made here. As you may know, Dr. David Brown has left the hospital, but I don't know where he relocated. Dr. Rob Michler continues there as Chief of Cardiothoracic surgery. Both were surgeons for my Maze. Although I tried to stay in touch with the folks there I have been somewhat disapointed at how that has worked out. Fortunately I have great cardiologists there who are seeing me through these recovery months.
