Greetings!

Well, it has been suggested to me that I update everyone here as to my progress post-PVA. I AM GREAT!!!!!!!!! This ole' ticker is steady and regular! My pulse is a bit faster than it was before (60), but not as fast as it was right after (90) now it's about 85 bpm. I played catcher on our church softball team all summer - we got second to last place, hee hee hee. I walk about 2 miles most evenings ... I tote my kids all over creation and chase them from here to there ... I even braved my son's 9th birthday party with 5 boys all of that age who had a particular interest in flatulence -- woah, what a long night! :0) I've even taken cold medicine with no adverse affects on my rhythm. I have had a CT scan, although Dr. Schweikert doesn't think it was in-depth enough ... but I simply can't afford to fly to CC right now. Heck, I even carried around my 9-year-old for two weeks when he first broke his leg this summer!

I just can't say enough about my experience at CC and I just have a huge amount of gratitude for all of you here on the maze board who have been so caring and supportive. I am truely beside myself.

I continue to be open to share my experience with anyone considering the PVA -- please feel free to send them my way. And I promise to report back again sooner than this last one, but you know how it goes when you are feeling great .... I just want to be playing with my babies!! So my computer gets a little neglected ... but then, that was the point for me - to be able to play with my kids. And I am doing just that.

In gratitude and respect,
Angie Strand
