Sorry for my bad Englisch (i'm from the Netherlands), what you write about your experience after the Maze procedure is famous. Everyone had the same. I had my Maze procedure on 7 novembre last year, I had 15 years Afib before and you know how bad that is. My rates goes on and on every day from 135 to 240 and back to 90.
copple of times I'll feel with my fingers in my neck for the pulse rate.After the Maze it needs time to believe that it's over while after soooo a long time of Afib it's between your ears. But it goes away that feeling believe me!!! Wonderful that your heart is in sinus, my heart is in AV Junctional(rate 52) but I still hope that he goes in sinus on one day, the AV and sinus fight a littlebit about: who is the boss.
