I have never heard of either one.
Please read my post entitled "Pre-Op Consultation with Dr Schweikert" dated 6-17-2002. It talks about what can happen if things don't go right.
I have had two ablations. Both were right atrial, which are the "easy" ones to do. I know enough about PVA (left atrial) to be scared of it. I would want a doc with a proven, excellent performance record and a lot of experience before I would lie down for it.
Don't let proximity of the treatment center influence your decision. Expertise and experience are the only factors that matter.
Good luck to you.
